Dublin Jacks was founded fifteen years ago by a bunch of mates who enjoyed to perform music with mainly an Irish flavour. The line up has changed over the years, however the delivery has never faultered. Today the band consists of Paul, Ray & Alisdair, playing a range of instruments including, guitar, banjo, mandolin, flute, whistles, harmonica, bass and bodharan. The music played is both traditional and contemporary, old and new inspired by artists such as The Dubliners, Fureys, Richard Thompson and Christy Moore and many others. They play many venues around the Midlands of varying size and status from the stages of large city auditoriums to the cosy firesides of country pubs.
The music is Mainly Irish & Goodtime Music.
