Exley was born in London and now lives in the South-West of England, he is an all round very accomplished likeable entertainer, with bags of charisma & stage presence gained during his varied career appearing in and working on numerous TV publications, such as Thames’ ‘White Light’ with Gary Crowley and BBC2’s ‘Masters Of Combat’ he has also worked on more well known films and programs such as Channel 4’s ‘The Word’, BBC's ‘Robot Wars’ plus the films ‘Notting Hill’, ‘The Four Feathers’, ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Chocalat’. As a result he met many famous people including Dame Judi Dench, Alfred Molina and Jonny Depp to name a few.He has also trodden the boards playing characters such as ‘Jacob’ in ‘La Cage Aux Folles’ and ‘Horse’ many times in the stage musical ‘The Full Monty’.
Exley has done much in terms of his musical career, his early days saw him collaborating artistically with artists such as Simon Purcell, Clevedon Watkiss, Mark and Mike Mondiser, Hawi Gondwe (Roachford), Piers Marsh (Alabama 3)
Highlights include performing in front of thousands of people at Liverpool's Mathew Street Festival, and touring with the singer Alexander O’Neal during his British tour. After recording Lionel Ritchie’s ‘Hello’ on a white label he was offered a recording contract on the ‘Moon-dance’ label. His biggest audience to date was on a show called ‘Qui Sera Le Melleur Sosie’ which aired to at least 7 million people in France alone.
Exley’s show choices include paying homage to the soul greats, show songs, swing greats and American Songbook. The shows offer a mixture of modern and old music from some of the greatest artists of our time. Exley can also be booked as a surprise 'Singing Waiter' act.
