Choosing your entertainment

The booking procedure

Once you have chosen your entertainment we will do the rest, we will confirm the booking with all parties and issue the contract to give you total piece of mind that your entertainment has been booked.

All booking terms & conditions take immediate effect once you have confirmed them with us, whether orally, electronically or in writing.

Read the contract terms, understand your obligations and sign and return the contract to us. Please note that whilst you are requested to sign & return the contract within 7 days of the date of issue, which is a written confirmation of the agreement already made, failure to sign & return it, is NOT sufficient to cancel or invalidate the agreement. Only a written objection received by JK Entertainment within 7 days of contract issue & sent by recorded delivery is acceptable.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

A small deposit will be required, generally 15 - 20% of the total amount, this will be confirmed with you at the booking stage.

How do I pay the deposit?

The deposit can be paid by bank transfer or cheque. The invoice will detail how the payment can be made and the deposit will be deducted from the total fee agreed. All deposits must be paid within 7 days of the invoice being sent. In the event of a cancellation by the client/hirer no deposits taken shall be refunded, as they are retained by JK Entertainment to cover business & administration costs. All deposits are held in a client account until after performance.

Will I get to speak to my entertainer?

Your entertainer will be advised to call you prior to your event date, in most cases they will do this 2 – 4 weeks prior to the show date.

Will I get to speak to you as my agent, prior to the show date?

If you have any questions between making the booking & the show date do not hesitate to contact us. As a matter or courtesy and to give you complete piece of mind, we will call you at least 2 weeks prior to the show date, along with the entertainer you have booked.

When is the balance payment made?

The balance invoice will be sent prior to the performance date & the balance payment will be required at least 10 days prior to the event date, by bank transfer or cheque directly to the act. In some cases, with prior agreement, it can be made cash on the night to the artist, prior to their performance.
