Kurtis White - Soul & Motown

Kurtis White started his singing career in one of the UK’s best Soul and Funk party bands on the circuit -  'The Mark’s Brother’s'  He has toured all of Europe and The UK with this amazing band, not only as a singer but a fantastic drummer too. He grew up in a family of very talented musicians, so this was the natural path for him to take, as he is a born entertainer! . Kurtis definitely stands out from the crowd, which has resulted in many opportunities to work with some of the very best. He also has a natural likeness to the Great 'Ray Charles' (see Ray Charles Tribute page)  and has worked with some of the finest tributes in the country! From Maxine Mazumder as Lu Lu and Dusty Springfield (as seen on Star's In Their Eyes) , Buzz D'Angelo as the god father of soul James Brown and he is currently touring the UK Theatre circuit with the official 'Jake and Elwood'  in the best Blues Brothers show ever!!!! 

Kurtis White is based in The Midlands but travels all over the country delighting audiences with the very best of Soul & Motown Classics, Funk & R & B,  as well as delivering the old time classics we all love, he has a youthful edge & adds a modern twist. Kurtis has performed at many prestigious venues in the UK & Europe, including Hotels, Theatres, Football Clubs, Cabaret venues and many more. He can tailor make the show to suit your needs, whether it's for a corporate event or private party your guests will have a night to remember.  Kurtis is also more than happy to accommodate any special requests and learn new material for your special event.
