Kirk Ensor - Vocalist & Guitarist

Midlands based Kirk Ensor (31) has been singing and playing music professionally for seven years. An accomplished solo performer, Kirk has also been part of a number of successful duos and bands. His set lists regularly include a wide variety of well known songs from 1960s – present day. His passion and knowledge for music are informed by influences as varied as rolling stones and the Gnarls Barkley. An accomplished singer, musician and songwriter, after graduating from Leeds University with a BA (Hons) Degree in popular music performance, Kirk was quickly snapped up to play 10 shows a week in the alps of France at many exclusive ski resorts.

Following this Kirk began playing regular shows in bars, restaurants and country clubs around London, Surrey and Sussex, in addition to regular bookings for private functions including weddings, birthdays and corporate functions.  Kirk relocated to Brighton in 2005 and established a number of successful  ‘open mic’ nights.  Kirk acted as promoter, compere and regular performer ensuring these shows attracted a consistent and enthusiastic local audience.  He also had residencies in many of Brighton’s most lively night spots and found himself playing five nights a week, in addition to being a private guitar tutor by day.

In 2007 Kirk moved to Southern California and found himself in demand.  He quickly established a number of residencies and became a regular performer in hotels, country clubs and restaurants across the San Diego area as a solo performer, duo's and also in bands. During his 4 years in the States he also was hired to perform at over 100 weddings, birthday celebrations and corporate events, which included a number of shows at the South Point Resort in Las Vegas and San Diego's famous Belly Up Tavern. Kirk is now relocated back in the UK and is continuing his music career both here and across Europe.
