A Supreme Night of MOTOWN
For almost a decade now, one of the UK's top vocal entertainers, Diane Shaw has been successfully re-creating the legends of that glorious Motown era.
Performing songs from the likes of Gladys Knight, Roberta Flack, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, The Three Degrees, and many more, she brings to life the spirit of the soul divas live on stage with a glittering stage-show packed with classic songs from emotive ballads to Motown floor fillers.
Diane's TV debut was back in 1999 on the Grand Final of Stars in their Eyes, and since then she has been one of the most in-demand entertainers on the circuit.
Her impressive client list boasts celebrity parties including the wedding of Tracy Shaw, featured across two issues of OK magazine, the Angel Ball for the Kirsty Howard Appeal, attended by top celebrities including David and Victoria Beckham, and private parties for the likes of Kevin Keegan, Kenny Dalglish, Alan Hansen, Bruce Jones, the cast of Coronation Street, and Nigel Hall (head of entertainment at ITV).
During her career, Diane has shared the stage with comedians such as Bobby Davro and Joe Pasquale, sports stars Steve Davis, David Gower and Matt Lattisier, as well as TV stars including Sir David Bellamy, David Dickenson and Clair Sweeney. Diane also appeared as the guest vocalist on the UK tour of award winning US Jazz star Peter White.
Her performances have taken her all over the UK, Europe, and the World, and she has performed anywhere from intimate private parties of 50, to outdoor festivals for thousands. The combination of an ever-more popular and ever-changing genre of music, presented by one of the top cabaret performers in the business, with a generous sprinkle of glamour, sophistication and professionalism, it is not difficult to see why Diane is still one of the most successful acts around after so many years.
