Motown Tribute Btempted

Initially known as The Soulites, the Trio which includes Michael Dave and Otis were renamed ‘Btempted’. After various production issues within their early groups 'Btempted' sampled their first brief taste of status in 2005. With all members writing and Michael & Otis producing Btempted achieved consistent recognition.

The group's classic line-up was finally established in December 2005, when they managed and performed their own Motown Showcase to a full house from which they enjoyed the success and exposure that followed. Over the next two years, they fashioned themselves on ‘The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, The Drifters, Lionel Ritchie and The Temptations'  perfecting every aspect of their performance.

This is one truly talented Trio, not only do they captivate the audience with their stunning vocal harmonies, smooth motown moves but the experience they have gained whislt attending schools for performing arts makes them all characters in their own right and their showmanship ensures they stand out from the rest! (All three have appeared in short films and Tv drama's such as Casualty and East Enders to name but a few.)

They have won many Talents shows over the years and have recently had the pleasure of collecting an Award for 'Outstanding Performances'  from the Worcester District Council Entertainment Board.

Their set includes a series of hits in both ballad and dance styles, carefully arranging complex vocal harmonies that highlight the group's 'doo-wop' heritage and will certainly have those dance floors full. They deliver simple rhythm numbers & graceful ballads like 'My Girl' which such vocal accuracy and style that they are able to recreate that Nostaligic Motown Era all over again. Btempted’s respect and admiration for the Motown Movement is the driving force behind their success and their fresh approach and enthusiasm makes the Motown Era very much alive!!

The Trio have performed at numerous venues all over the country, including clubs, hotels and cabaret venues. They have also performed at a wide range of private functions including weddings, birthdays and anniversaries and are the perfect choice for getting the party started.
