'Bongo' Eddie is a professional percussionist, lead vocalist and compere from New York, New York... and, as the lyric goes, if you can make it there you can make it anywhere.

He has toured with artistes such as James Brown, Al Green, Stephanie Mills, Edwin Starr, and Martha Reeves.

Bongo Eddie is perhaps best known as the long standing member of "Kid Creole and The Coconuts" with whom he not only plays percussion, but is also an integral part of the Entertaining exploits of the show. Eddie still performs with Kid Creole not only in England but all over the world.

Eddie's musical and theatrical talents, coupled with his outgoing and outrageous personality, have landed him several cameo acting roles in films such as 'Lambada' and 'Against All Odds'. He has toured with the stage musicals "Dancing In The Street" and "The Marvin Gaye Story" where he played in leading roles.

All in all, Bongo Eddie is a hugely entertaining showman and one of the most sought after performers of his genre on the entertainment scene today.
