A Stab in the Dark Murder Mysteries promises something for everyone, whether you’re a closet Morse, a secret Marple, or someone who just wants to enjoy excellent entertainment over a 3-course dinner.
They are a team with over 20 years’ of acting experience, they write their own plots, which are complex enough for detective buffs to find challenging, but wrapped up in a comedic style that allows everyone to be thoroughly entertained. Several of their scripts lend themselves to guests coming in fancy dress, which gives the evening a real party feel.
Each event has at least five actors, skilled in improvisation and personally chosen to be part of their team. Twisting plots, fiendish red herrings, gruesome murder and more than a few laughs await you, whether its a public event, a private party or corporate event there are various options to choose from guaranteed to thrill your audience. Plots range from modern day thrillers to the roaring 20s, from the rock n roll era of the 1950s to the backstabbing boardroom. Murder mystery dinners, usually begin in the bar area or drinks reception where the suspects mix and mingle with the guests before the meal begins, then your helpful Inspector will guide you through the evening with clues and evidence. Question the suspects over the 3 course dinner until the murderer is revealed over coffee.
A typical murder mystery dinner follows the format below. The majority of the action and questioning takes place between courses, with certain evidence and some scenarios taking place during the courses.
Weekends begin with the format above on the Friday night, continue on Saturday morning, and conclude with the format above on Saturday night.
